Presidents of Uzbekistan and Russia discuss topical issues of bilateral agenda

On October 14 a telephone conversation was held between the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. 

Issues of further development and strengthening of Uzbek-Russian relations of comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance in the context of practical implementation of high-level agreements, were reviewed.

Special attention was paid to supporting the growth dynamics of the main indicators of trade, economic and investment cooperation, as well as facilitating cooperation projects at the regional level of the two countries. 

The expansion of humanitarian interaction, primarily in the sphere of culture, arts and education, including preparation of engineering personnel, was noted with satisfaction.
